<p>I didn´t mention the loss of the security deposit because it is obvious.  Indeed, I have even proposed long term security deposits (more than three months) as an optional "certification" procedure for new users (see here: <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load issue title" data-id="328760290" data-permission-text="Issue title is private" data-url="https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/23" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/bisq-network/proposals/issues/23/hovercard?comment_id=482959414&comment_type=issue_comment" href="https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/23#issuecomment-482959414">#23 (comment)</a>).  I just wanted to highlight that we should consider into the equation that the stolen account has some value for the scammer.</p>
<p>Regarding the delay and the account age, I think that if we underestimate scammer patience, the account age parameter could become dangerously missleading.  As I explain above, I believe account age should only start to count if payment has been confirmed by an old account.</p>
