<p>Isn't that pretty much what was suggested in <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load issue title" data-id="435922491" data-permission-text="Issue title is private" data-url="https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/78" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/bisq-network/proposals/issues/78/hovercard" href="https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/78">#78</a>, just without BSQ involved?</p>

<p>This system is not as powerful as BSQ bonding, but it is better than simple reputation which can be gamed with fake trades.</p>

<p>It could be gamed as well, it just gets more costly (10 BSQ for upvote after fake trade). You could add additional checks if each single trade has based on the payment method a minimum time frame between start to end to detect fake trades more easily. But still this can be faked when done properly as well.</p>
<p>The idea of this and <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load issue title" data-id="437058941" data-permission-text="Issue title is private" data-url="https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/79" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/bisq-network/proposals/issues/79/hovercard" href="https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/79">#79</a> is to shortcut the slow verification part based on successful trades.</p>
<p>The problem with having this complete trading information in the public is that it reveals more about the account to everyone. We might have a similar problem with the BSQ bonds.</p>
