<p>There was a "socially defined" contract/promise that they will get BSQ once the DAO is live, as it happened. So I would not say "had been working for no compensation". It was just not a hard guarantee and it was not convertible to money.</p>

<p>Depends on the amounts. Trading volume has been about 50 000 USD/month or higher and average price is above 1 USD. So decent amounts can already be sold by contributors. I assume most contributors would not sell anyway 100% of their stake....</p>
