<p>This approach would allow us to add LFS-tracked binaries at any time, just like any other commit. If what you mean is can we cut releases of these new "database updates" outside of the normal release cadence that's more of a process question. I wouldn't want to mix up the semantics of what a tag / release means in this repository, but we could discuss further what's actually needed and how to get there.</p>
