<p>Please can DAO check to see if <a class="user-mention" data-hovercard-type="user" data-hovercard-url="/users/Wrecktangl3/hovercard" data-octo-click="hovercard-link-click" data-octo-dimensions="link_type:self" href="https://github.com/Wrecktangl3">@Wrecktangl3</a> did in fact make payment for all the above 4 trades? It should be possible to check out trade ID mediation and arbitration tickets to see if payment was in fact made? Also, mediators could reopen mediation tickets with <a class="user-mention" data-hovercard-type="user" data-hovercard-url="/users/Wrecktangl3/hovercard" data-octo-click="hovercard-link-click" data-octo-dimensions="link_type:self" href="https://github.com/Wrecktangl3">@Wrecktangl3</a>'s counterparties to confirm the version of events.</p>
<p>Issue <a class="issue-link js-issue-link" data-error-text="Failed to load title" data-id="779262259" data-permission-text="Title is private" data-url="https://github.com/bisq-network/support/issues/726" data-hovercard-type="issue" data-hovercard-url="/bisq-network/support/issues/726/hovercard" href="https://github.com/bisq-network/support/issues/726">#726</a> was poorly referenced. Has a genuine bug has been established?</p>
<p>I think refunds in cases like this lead the way to users potentially trying to scam the DAO either by self-trading or by trying to claim what they know they are not entitled to as a result of their own failings.</p>
<p>Hypothetically a scammer could do the following:</p>
<ul>
<li>Take multiple trades on Bisq to buy BTC</li>
<li>Not make fiat payment for any trades</li>
<li>Post a vague issue on GitHub with key information missing</li>
<li>Wait a period of time until a refund agent has been made</li>
<li>Raise a request to be compensated by the DAO for the security deposit (paid) and trading amounts (not paid)</li>
</ul>
<p>Taking it a step further a scammer could then complete self trades with themselves to get paid out twice and not lose security deposit.</p>
<p>DAO should be careful when refunding users that provide incomplete and miss-leading information. There should be an onus on users to provide all the necessary evidence that what they said occurred did actually occur.</p>
<p><a class="user-mention" data-hovercard-type="user" data-hovercard-url="/users/Wrecktangl3/hovercard" data-octo-click="hovercard-link-click" data-octo-dimensions="link_type:self" href="https://github.com/Wrecktangl3">@Wrecktangl3</a> I think you should not be paid out at all for the trades due to my above concerns. I would review my opinion if you can provide the required evidence of your version of events.</p>
