Some little news from my job on monitoring prices.
It’s not going very fast (apologies) but I’m not far from delivering (probably in august).
Atm and since july 24th, I’m monitoring the fees given from the 5 pricenodes
The frequency for the monitoring is one check/5 minutes. (If you think it should be more or less, please let me know).
When a gap is noticed, it is written in a file and an email alert is produced.
The results for the past week is the following :

2018-07-25 15:50 [12, 12, 12, 12, 18]
So, very few gaps, and given that the time interval for checking is 5 minutes, one can see that there is no gap which lasts more than 5 minutes. And very probably it lasts only some seconds. (I didn’t find necessary to investigate more, since those punctual gaps don’t seem to be an issue).
I profit from the monitoring to also record the data. The recording may be useful eg to confirm some possible congestion on the BTC network.
If you want to be added to the email alerts please let me know.
The remaining work is to monitor prices (should be rather straightforward) and to add a slack alert. And maybe other suggestions.
