@ManfredKarrer To have the 'account verifier' only checking the bank name and withdrawal amount against the hash would mitigate a lot of the privacy leaks from verification. There is still some information included in the currency and bank but clearly a lot less and perhaps limited enough that it won't hurt.

It might not be easy for users to do the verification without actually revealing the account number and name though, that could be an issue but it would be in the hands of the user. The fact that the verification is less strict would make it less of a must have for BTC sellers and keep the account age as the more useful measure for a good counter party. I like the account age witness feature a lot since it's completely in the hands of the user.

I still have the concerns of where it steers the project having a centralized KYC style feature.
