What's important is a word's usage and spelling in the wider world, not how we happen to have (perhaps wrongly) spelled it throughout our own materials. My quick searches showed that "multisig" is the most common convention, e.g. from https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Multisignature:

> Multisignature (multisig) refers to requiring more than one key to authorize a Bitcoin transaction. It is generally used to divide up responsibility for possession of bitcoins.

If you have evidence to the contrary please present it, but I think that going with "multisig" is going with the flow / current convention. Thanks.
