I was thinking on just checking the account age from the seller, if it is older than X, then the account age of the buyer can begin to increase (or after N payment confirmations from older than X accounts). But I guess that since Bisq is opensource, this could be easily changed in the sourcecode by an advanced scammer. To avoid this, maybe it is possible to achieve the same result by some cryptographic function based on the seller account age, so all the process is cryptographically verifiable?

To avoid surprises with waiting periods, pop ups are very useful. From Manfred´s proposal and screenshots, it looks like Manfred has taken that into consideration.

As a general comment, I think that to help users onboarding and bearing with waiting periods it would be good to somehow make clear that Bisq cares a lot about private property of Bisq users **and also non Bisq users**, so these measures are for the benefit of all. If this message is understood and valued, it will attract honest users on the long term. For the users that don´t care about private property well... does the Bisq community want them on board?
