## 2019.1 report

Discourse was updated 4 times this month and is currently at latest version **2.2.0.beta10**.
Backups were downloaded as usual.

We had some directory traversal attempts this month which made me ban the IP.
Otherwise nothing out of the ordinary.

Statistics:
**63** new signups, **24%** increase.
**64** new topics, **31%** increase.
**353** new posts, **15%** increase.
DAU/MAU is at **17%**, same as last month.
**9** daily engaged users on average, same as last month.
**44** new forum contributors, **33%** increase.

**76,742** pageviews, similar as last month.
**593** user visits, **5%** decrease.

Overall higher number of new users creating more topics than usual.
This increase is likely due to addition of GRIN altcoin in Bisq that caused some issues for users.
