The fiat banking system is treating its users like childs and burglars, with tons of regulation/protection/limits/delays etc. With bankers experts knowing better than users what is good for them and what is not good for them.
Some people which are annoyed being treated this way try to escape and go in the crypto world. Because crypto world should be **free** etc.
And there, guess what, we are frenetically rebuilding a carbon-copy micro-banking system will all kind of protections/limits/delays etc, where users will also be exactly treated as childs and burglars. And where we, experts, have plenty of ideas about what is good/not good for them.
Because of 1 or 2 scammers, every user will be asked 2 proof of accounts.
Because of 1 or 2 scammers, every user will be treated as a child and will have super small trading limits (which increase dramatically the fee ratio (which not even profits to Bisq), which increase the number of moves and alerts the banks, etc).
This Lépine contest of measures is in fact a usability killer contest.
Our fiat/crypto users will **die cured**.

I monitor the EUR/BTC, USD/BTC numbers daily. Everybody participating to this discussion should do that. The decrease is really worrisome. We are really hurting hard our poor customers and of course some go away.
Instead of knocking out our customers under a pile of measures we should stop forgetting the initial way people search with crypto : **freedom + responsability**.
Offering them the exact reverse is completely missing our core target.
We'll alas probably pay it and see it in the numbers.
Bisq profitability with fiat/crypto trading is an horizon that we ourselves methodically push further every day.
