Agree with most of the comments...

1) Keep it simple and clean (minimalist)... unless you want Bisq to be a programmer-only platform.
2) Keep it decentralized. What's the point of having this great technology by Satoshi yet going against it with a centralized authority to ban/blacklist users? Let users themselves be the ones protecting themselves, just give them the tools to do it. I don't think LocalBitcoins is perfect, but it's pretty simple and user-friendly. I'd suggest taking a lot of its features (specially when it comes to trust) as references.
3) 2FA... totally.
4) The biggest issue for "Onboarding" even if you have the greatest marketing of all times is, so far, Trust. There is no way to trust users. mpolavieja said "99,9% of Bisq users are honest and all trades settled rather quickly"... oh well, easier said than trusted. If I'm not wrong, the user base is still tiny. Again, not as a programmer, just as the regular user I am, I find it very difficult to start a transaction on Bisq, because I have no idea whether the trader I end up choosing will run away with my money after it's sent.
