@battleofwizards If users don't take care of on-chain privacy (coin merge) they would make one bond linked to the next bond. That is even worse with BSQ than with plain BTC because you cannot use CoinJoin for BSQ. 
The way how the bond tracking works need to ensure privacy so that trades are not linkable. The fees should not add more requirements, but it is not thought our yet how it will be implemented exactly. Even the core bond-tracking protocol is not finalized but in early concept phase. Hopefully in a few days we have a version for security and privacy audit ready.
