Legal liability of DAO stakeholder is a difficult question. In a way they are an open permissionless multisig group who can detroy your funds if a super majority agrees. The incentives align that abuse is not realistic, but theoretical and legal interpretation might be different. Hard to find parallel models in real life so likely the legal questions will remain un-answered.
