## About

Bisq just launched a secure chat for traders in its newest release (v1.1.6) on Monday.

That chat is private, secure, and as censorship-resistant as Bisq itself—but strictly meant for traders to resolve issues with trades. Any other talk is disallowed.

So what about general solutions for private, secure, and censorship-resistant communication?

We're going to have a discussion about such solutions on this call: Keybase, Scuttlebutt, Riot/Matrix, etc. with folks who know them well:

- TBD

Bisq could certainly benefit from adopting such channels, but the discussion will be more of a general exploration of the merits of each platform/protocol.

**Note that this call will start about 1 hour later than usual to accommodate some guests.**
