Yes, I didn´t mention it but I was always thinking of it as a possible improvement (if it is worth it)

Agree on that.  I don´t know how likely it is that kind of ddos attack to be successful.  

In any case my major concern is to avoid the DAO being involved in the reimbursment process.  Not because of scalability but because of legal problems.
