>From what I've seen, "Synchronizing DAO" (which shows the progress bar) is dirrectly correlated with UI sluggishness. Whether it happens on startup, or periodically while Bisq is running:
- as long as "Synchronizing DAO" is running, the UI is sluggish + CPU spikes
- as soon as it finishes, UI and CPU are back to normal
