I'm also pro moving to JDK 14 if jpackager supports what we need (it does as far as I remember reading through the draft docu in the past.

@cd2357 I agree that ditching the native bundle route would save some time and would make the build process easier, but I fear that it would prevent us to move to a bigger audience the far off we go from the native app route. Did you have time to play around with the jpackager already?
