Another problem with the video is that users have different skill levels on doing that and it bring mediators in complicate situations if the video is not as clear as it should be but still somehow ok... It comes with a lot of blurry lines...

Another issue is fake money. I guess there mighe be scammer with pretty high quality falsifiactions which are hard to detect if one has not spent considerable time to become an expert on such stuff.

I assume the platforms supporting CBM have additional security features like reputation. Bisq does not have that so I would see that as an invitation for scammers. Might work a while for small amounts but I don't see how that can be provided with some reasonable level of security.

What might work is it is combined with some other ideas, like https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/79 or BSQ bonds... Another option would be to user 100% security deposit or even higher and make clear that there is no dispute resolution like with F2F tades. But I guess if it gets that expensive nobody will use it anyway.

We could delegate the reputation-check to the users by adding an email field in the offer so that the taker can contact the maker before the deal and they can exchange whatever they request like social media accounts. If there is enough trust provided by that this could reduce the risk but I would also argue that we should make clear that mediators and arbitrators cannot help if there is a dispute, so they have to be aware that funds can be kept forever in the multiSig or if one publishes the delayed payout tx its donated to Bisq without getting a reimbursement (as arbitrator cannot clearly find out who defaulted).
