@Jmacxx it hinges on regular customers coming back and trusting me but also the fact that the sender takes responsibility. the feedback just helps get more customers or less depending on what it is. im not looking for find new customers anyway but just have a decentralised place to send my old ones. saying i have been trading for over 5 years with almost no problems with the cash by mail side (i had far more problems with charge backs thats why i don't use bank transfer) yet you would still use bank transfer when money can be sent back? in uk we have royal mail, we can insure the cash and we can open a criminal case if someone stole the money or never sent (basically fraud). with cash in mail they is a end point its not anonymous so if someone dose try and scam then you can wait on the dispute till the police have had there say. ? regardless of that i just want somewhere i can direct my customers where they feel its a safe escrow. if it helps you can always put a warning when doing them trades letting people know its heightened risk. in the uk for example cash in person is far more dangerous due to gang thefts and so on. i open all packages under camera as well which could be a requirement even if someone sent 50k its still not worth it financially to try and edit a video into a fake. are they any other cash by mail traders from other countries as i do understand united kingdom is in a very easy situation to do cash by mail due to the insurance royal mail offer and the fact they will insure cash as i know most country's mail services won't. maybe just make it available for u.k ? hopefully we can sort something as i love the idea of bisq. good luck on the voting. my biggest problems to the people asking before is when people say they have sent but haven't or people opening trade but waiting till price moves up before sending but them people are 1 in 1000. also no one can be bothered to try and scam with there address visible due to risk of police turning up. are they any other cash by mail traders from other country's reading who can give there perspective on this.
