This is a proposal for myself to analyze the blockchain data for 200 historic trades with fees paid with BSQ and 200 historic trades with fees trades paid with BTC to answer the following questions:

- What percentage of trades with trade fees paid with BSQ failed
- What percentage of trades with trade fees paid with BTC failed
- What percentage of trades with trade fees paid with BSQ went to arbitration
- What percentage of trades with trade fees paid with BTC went to arbitration
- What percentage of trades with trade fees paid with BSQ still have locked funds after 3 months
- What percentage of trades with trade fees paid with BTC still have locked funds after 3 months
- Number of trades entering arbitration as a percentage of total Bisq trades
- The number, hopefully zero, of any trades going to arbitration that are paying out to a different address than the burningmans BTC address 34VLFgtFKAtwTdZ5rengTT2g2zC99sWQLC

### Problem

Currently the following are unknown:

- How many of trades on Bisq fail. The mediators are not aware of all the trades that fail, and not all user with failed trades request reimbursements
- The number of trades entering arbitration as a percentage of Bisq trades, This should be simple enough to work out but I do not think this is being done.
- The number of trades that for one reason or another end up with locked funds after 3 months. This should not happen but if both traders go AWOL then it could. Also bugs could cause this.
- If there a significant difference between failed trades between fees pain in BTC or BSQ. I assume not, but would be good to check.

### Methodology

- For trades fees paid in BTC. I will look at the first 200 trades on Bisq from block height 703000 (October 2020) onwards where fees were paid to 38bZBj5peYS3Husdz7AH3gEUiUbYRD951t
- For trades fees paid in BSQ. I will look at the first 200 trades on Bisq from block height 705000, a later block height than above to not duplicate results, (October 2020) onwards using https://bisq.markets/blocks
- To look at trades ending in arbitration I will compare the number of deposits going to 34VLFgtFKAtwTdZ5rengTT2g2zC99sWQLC vs the total trades on the Bisq platform

### Outcome

I will provide a summary report under this proposal detailing answering the above questions and suggesting any relevant data. I will also include any observations / suggestions as necessary.

### Cost

I will request $500 USD worth of BSQ for completing the above.

I think the above would be good to implement. If anyone has any data they think I should also collect then please let me know. Also I plan to do this manually so if anyone thinks there is a way to do this quicker via a script etc, or for lower cost, please let me know.
