FYI some numbers on BSQ fees from the last 4 cycles. BSQ rates are taken from the proposals of the subsequent cycle.

**cycle**|**pay\_trade\_fee-count**|**pay\_trade\_fee-fees (bsq)**|**bsq trailing 30-day average price**|**bsq trading fees (btc)**

My opinion is there should be a good foundation of data available first. @chimp1984's work looks like it will go a long way in helping. In addition to the overall numbers, [my initial concept](https://github.com/bisq-network/projects/issues/41#issuecomment-670926866) included details on what exactly issuance went toward and how it affected trade volume over time. I think that's a critical part of any analysis of Bisq finances.

It's not particularly difficult to get that some of this data, but it's tedious to put it all together (consistently) in a way that makes it informative. This is why I continued to do what I could in blog posts, considering this task "handed off," as the remaining tasks to complete reporting (as discussed last year) seemed to be technical beyond my ability. Compensation requests were structured to handle such analysis, scripts were written to aggregate issuance, analyze BSQ burned, summarize trading volume, etc...much is already automated in a manual way, if that makes any sense, but that's of little use beyond the people using the scripts.

Right now I think a better use of time would be to get whatever resources are needed to complete a dashboard as proposed in [project 41](https://github.com/bisq-network/projects/issues/41) done.
