#### Cycle 21 report

- It's been a difficult cycle. Cycle 20 failed and the amount of BSQ issued for compensation and reimbursements could exceed the 300.000 BSQ secucrity limit and make the cycle fail again. I created a spreadsheet to help follow how many BSQ were calculated to be issued this cycle and not exceed it.
- 22 compensation were accepted, 1 rejected and two more were rejected or dropped to not exceed the issuance limit.
- For cycle 22 I expect at least 3  late compensation requests from regular contributors who did not submit requests for this cycle.
- Cycle 22 fee rate was [calculated](https://github.com/bisq-network/compensation/issues/782) and [announced](https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/discussions/5181).
- BSQ trading fee was [updated](https://github.com/bisq-network/proposals/issues/301). For the first time, trading fees needed to be reduced.
