Hi @Mentors4EDU

Thanks for posting this.

I think improving the social experience of using Bisq would be great, if it does not sacrifice any privacy.

> Regarding Privacy
> I think users can have the option of being public to an extent (description and site profile fields), or having some level of anonymity or pseudonymity.

I think Bisq should encourage the privacy of all users. Many users choosing not to be private makes the network more prone to attack from regulators etc.

Having read your proposal here is my feedback. I have tried to provide feeback from the perspective of someone that is an active trader:

#### Positives:

- Base Modules, this seem good.
- Profile customization would be good.

#### Negatives:

- Profile - link to website (sacrifices privacy)
- Profile - button to view trade history (sacrifices privacy - An active trader would likely not want all their trades public)
- Profile - It will also include metrics in regards to percentages for YoY returns (sacrifices privacy - active trader does a trade selling BTC, buyer is disgrunteled, Buyer has name of trader, bank details, trade history and their year to date profit, they publish this information or send it to the relevant tax / financial institute / etc to cause problems for trader)
- Simulation Modes - I think the trades taking place on Bisq may only tell some of the story of a users trading activity so not sure how valuable this data would be.

#### Questions:

- Can you let me know more about the follow trade idea?
- Ranking Mechanism - is this for traders? What would a high rank mean? Why would someone want to be ranked highly?
- Have you any ideas to improve the social experience that do no sacrifice privacy for those choosing to opt-in?
