@pazza83 No, i'ts not documented other than at this issue, and partially. I started not reimbursing the full BTC sent to donation address on cycle 22, but the amounts was not communicated or even clear to me.
It's necessary and fair that the DAO keeps a part of the security deposit from traders who cause unnecessary disputes, specially those who stop responding.
The amount should be enough to at least cover arbitration expenses. The amount is based on a percentage of the security deposit amount. The % is higher for lower trading amounts and reduced for higher trading amounts.
There's been more than 30 times where the total amount sent to DAO donation address was not completely refunded, and noone has complained yet.
