Are you using a local BTC core node or the provided ones? It seems to be that our provided Tor v2 BTC core node addresses are getting slower connections, because of the fade out of the Tor v2 support (Mid October). We'll provide updated Tor v3 BTC core node addresses in our next release (end of this or beginning of next week) which should help in that regard.
