**Community consensus:**

@cbeams said in #958 "_I'm happy to approve this as an experiment and to see how something goes, but I think similar future efforts would need some kind of measurement mechanism in place to gauge effectiveness_".

@MwithM said in #958 "_As a rushed, enthusiastic project, this one lacks of thought, debate and a pre-approved budget.
I don't know if 2k for this is cheap or expensive, but I like the idea as an experiment and if you can provide the ticket/bank invoice to someone who acknowledges that they're ok, I will vote in favour of this compensation request_".

@ripcurlx said in #1025 "_As it seems there was a consensus back then to compensate this as a one-time experiment I think it should be fine to submit this CR to the DAO for voting and post the transaction ID here afterwards_".

@ripcurlx also said "_it was rejected by the DAO in Cycle 31. No one who rejected the CR commented so far_". (My understanding: In [Cycle 31](https://github.com/bisq-network/compensation/issues/958) the DAO request was selected as Reimbursement instead of Compensation so clicking the link took you to the wrong repository & ticket in github.).

@jmacxx said in #1025 "_I fully support this CR as a one off experiment to drive liquidity to Bisq. It is a grass roots campaign by a bisq user; It ran for 3 months instead of 1 (3x value for money); Only expenses incurred are being requested; opticbit has been instrumental in developing the P2P / CBM markets, especially positive for Bisq_".

@pazza83 made a good point in #1025 "_I think this showed good initiative. It was good to see it being posted about online. I would encourage @opticbit to make a [proposal](https://bisq.wiki/Proposals) for any future plans for campaigns_".

**Technical issues:**

opticbit has had some technical issues in the past months getting this CR through the process:

#958 - incorrectly submitted/linked.
#1020 - missed the deadline.
#1025 - low voter participation.

I applaud his fortitude to try a 4th time to get this through, and hope the community comes together to vote for it.
