## Cycle 33 Report

This is my third report using the new template above. Plan going forwards is to release a mediation report on the third Wednesday of every month.

The average number of mediation tickets for this cycle was 2.5 new mediation cases per day. 

Thanks for @w0000000t and @MwithM for updating and simplifying the [Table of Penalties](https://bisq.wiki/Table_of_penalties).

Also thanks to @jmacxx for the recent improvements to mediation with [improve UX once mediation has been accepted by both parties](https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/pull/5870) and enable [mediators to request log files directly from chat](https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/pull/5953). 

All of the above have improved mediator and user experience.

### Number of mediation tickets currently open (in progress):

Currently I have 10 mediation tickets open.

### Summary of reasons for closed mediation tickets since last report: 

Since the last report here are all the reasons mediation was opened where the tickets have been closed:

TRADE_ALREADY_SETTLED: 0
BUG: 12
PEER_WAS_LATE: 2
USABILITY: 4
WRONG_SENDER_ACCOUNT: 1

**TOTAL: 68**

The 'trade already being settled' reason for mediation is down to zero. This is a good sign as it means that no sellers released during the mediation process. This is a result of the [confirm button for the BTC seller now being disabled in mediation](https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq/pull/5808).

The 'Other' reason for mediation is fairly high but this is quite a broad category and is almost entirely made up of trades where mediation was opened as a precaution, in error, or traders want to cancel trades for some reason.  

#### Breakdown of Bugs for closed mediation tickets since last report:

The number of bugs this cycle were up from 3 to 12:

Buyer unable to confirm payment started: 1
Seller unable to confirm payment received: 5
Deposit confirmation not being seen for over 60 seconds:  1
No payment method data shared: 0
Locked funds error message: 0
Corrupted wallet associated error messages: 1 (Error message: Maker/Taker txId in contract does not match deposit tx input)
Seed node error message: 0
BSQ price filter error message: 3
Trader not receiving mediator messages: 1

The BSQ filter was a new type of error but quickly fixed when @ripcurlx applied the BSQ filter for the updated BSQ trading fees.

Number of mediation tickets, since last report, that have required manual payouts: ~2
Number of mediation tickets, since last report, that have had to be manually sent to donation address: ~0
