Yes agree, wording should be improved. Have not spent too much time on that yet. Swap trades was from the original intention to avoid buy/sell and use more the mental model of swaps but that is dropped, so will rename it.
We still could use the swap terminology when users trade assets where there is no market (e.g. liquid assets), but dont want to spend time on that niche... But the current concept requires that there is a clear definition whats the base and quote currency / e.g. that there is an existing market defined (and quotes are available).

I prefer to keep the more technical terms for the current state as it helps me to design the domain but once that is more of less complete we can ask @m52go if he can help to find better terms.
