I see 2 options for the reputation protocol:
1. Using burned BSQ as requirement to be a RT
2. Allow any type of reputation like a link to a social media account and leave it to the NT to estimate the risks

I think the first option will be more safe and easier for the NT. So maybe better to focus first on that that protocol type and maybe later allow a more flexible protocol.

For that BSQ secured protocol I think we should require the BTC seller to have some min. amount of BSQ burned as "entry ticket" for posting an offer or taking an offer.
The user profile should consist of a RT chosen user name + some TBD way to protect against impersonation attempts. Even those might be less risk here as the burned BSQ is the primary source for the reputation.

> ... how a reputable trader would use this specific protocol and why

The why is mainly because of a considerable better price. What I heard in the keybase channels premiums of 10-15% are normal. Those premiums are not possible in the normal trade protocols.

Sorry I have not thought too much about the details of the reputation based protocol myself, so its all quite open still.
I start today with the trade protocol and I guess in about one week I have some prototype and assume that some things get more clear on the way.
