If you refer to the create offer screen, that is not a design suggestion, but work in progress to get the domain implemented.
Goal is to have 2 variations. One for expert traders where they can control all details and options and one for new traders with the most limited set of options possible which might be:
1. Select market
2. Select BUY or SELL
3. Set Amount (price will be set to market price)

Depending on the market/currency pair the protocol will be preselected. E.g. BTC - Fiat will preselect the Multisig protocol. XMR-BTC will preselect Atomic cross chain swap.

For the MS protocol, yes we can use the default security deposit value so the user need only to have enough BTC in their wallet to be able to fund the offer and can complete. If the user has setup only one payment account that will be choosen automatically.
