[bisq-network/bisq] Application hangs at startup (#2666)

data point:  it took me 5 restarts and one re-boot to sync up very old wallet.  I got Out of mem error the first time.  second time, app was killed with no reason given.  third time it pegged the cpu and disk (SSD) so badly that I could not move mouse or even login to linux console, waited approx 10  minutes.  had to reboot.  The 4 time, it slowed the mouse again, but finally made it to the main screen, then it died before sync finished.   5th time, it got to main screen and the sync completed. this was with 0.9.5.
